Skybound SMP is a peaceful Minecraft server built on floating islands over the void. The server is vanilla-based with a few helpful plugins and a graves datapack where when you die, a grave appears that you can right-click to retrieve your items.
The goal is to provide a friendly environment where players can hang out, make friends, build, and enjoy events. The server uses Simple Voice Chat for in-game communication.
The server is hosted as a homelab using playit.gg to expose the local server to the internet. Some players may experience lag due to their ISP routing traffic through slow or unreliable proxies, which can cause higher latency even if the server itself is stable.
Most lag is client-side or network-based, not from server performance.
